This 3 Days Murchison Falls National Park Tour will take you to one of the biggest parks in Uganda, the 3,840 square kilometre Murchison Falls National Park, which was established as a game reserve in 1926 and is located in North Western Uganda. It is divided into two parts (the northern and southern bank) by the Victoria Nile, which runs through the Savannah grasslands. More than 451 bird species, including the Great Blue Turaco, Goliath Heron, Shoebill, and dwarf kingfisher, as well as 76 mammal species, numerous Nile crocodiles, and, most importantly, the stunning and thunderous Murchison Falls that squeeze through an 8-meter-wide gorge can be found in Murchison Falls. All in all, you will get to experience the pleasures of both our boat cruises along the Nile River and our Uganda safari game drives.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Following a leisurely breakfast, our driving guide will come to your accommodation at 7:00 am to take you to the Murchison Falls National Park. He will also give you an overview of your three-day safari itinerary. After passing through Luwero, you will make a halt at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinoceros, where you can see both black and white rhinos.

Have lunch at a different location in Masindi after tracking, and then continue to the park. After paying for park access, drive to the top of the falls, where you may witness a variety of species, including baboons and warthogs. Witnessing the mighty falls squeak through the rocks in an 8-meter cleft from the top of the falls is an incredible experience. Grab all the pictures you can. Drive to the lodge later, unwind all evening, have dinner, and spend the night there.
