During your 4 Days Kidepo National Park Safari, you will visit the most secluded and semi-arid regions of the country, situated in the Karamoja region. With a total size of over 1,440 km³ and a maximum elevation of 2,750 m, the park is the second largest national park in the nation. Due to the park’s distance from Kampala roughly 700 km most visitors arrive by plane, with Aerolink Uganda and Kampala Executive Aviation operating regular flights from Entebbe airport and Kajansi airstrip, respectively. Kidepo National Park is a must-visit destination since it boasts the largest animal population and breathtaking scenery. The two main drives in the park are the Kidepo Valley drive and the Narus Valley drive. The Kidepo Valley drive has less animals but better scenery, and it is the best time to go game viewing. The Narus Valley drive has more animals than the other drive, as evidenced by their gathering at the park’s only permanent water sources.
