A thrilling blend of picturesque landscapes and an abundance of animals awaits you on this 5 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari. Big cats and the Great Migration both call the well-known Masai Mara home. With its picture-perfect vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro and its enormous, magnificent herds of elephants, Amboseli is a photographer’s paradise. There will be glimpses and enduring recollections during these five days.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara.
Your driver/guide will get you from your accommodation in the Nairobi region, the airport, or your home, and you will go to the Masai Mara in our 4 x 4 safari car. We’ll take a break from our trip for breakfast in the town of Narok, and we should arrive at the Mara by midmorning.
Meals: (Lunch, Dinner).
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara Game Reserve.
You will rise early to enjoy the first light of the day and the sounds of the birds on the expansive reserve. You have an endless supply of game drives today, so get ready to tick off every species on your “to see” list. At the Masai Mara, home to the greatest concentration of animals in this region of Africa, you’re right in the thick of things. When the Great Migration takes place, which happens from July to October, hundreds of gazelles, zebras, and wildebeest will cross the Mara River in search of food.
You will go to the river, have a picnic lunch, and watch as crocodiles, hippos, and other species come into view. You have the option to visit the Maasai people in their hamlet, if you so want. You may acquire some of their handcrafted beaded items and discover more about their traditions and herding lifestyle. An early-morning hot-air balloon tour over the Masai Mara is an additional optional pleasure! Witness the park come to life as the animals parade through it in their eternal migration, a sight to remember. Simply ask your guide or driver to make the arrangements.
Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 3: Transfer to Amboseli National Park.
You’ll head to Amboseli Park early in the morning. As you go, you’ll pass farms and fields and pause to take in Kenya’s breathtaking nature. We’ll stretch and unwind during our lunch break. After arriving in the afternoon at Amboseli Park, there will be time for a game drive and exploration of the reserve. Standing tall at the southern edge of the park, Mt. Kilimanjaro provides a continual view over the diverse range of animals found throughout this tiny park. As the high-altitude cloud cover burns off in the evening, the mountain’s snow-capped peak may become visible, providing us with a picture-perfect view of one of Africa’s most inspiring locations.
Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 4: Full Day in Amboseli National Park.
There will be leisure time and game drives throughout the day. Simply let your guide or driver know how much of each you’d want. However, you’ll rise early to take a pre-breakfast safari around the park, witnessing the families of elephants making their way to their preferred watering sites. After a filling safari breakfast, you will take a Jeep to our lodge or tented camp, which is our favourite watering hole. You’ll end the morning with another leisurely game drive. Amboseli’s scant vegetation makes it simpler to spot wildlife. You’re going to have a light lunch and organise our afternoon. Because they are knowledgeable, your driver/guide can tell you about the best places to explore in the park, like its lakes, forests, and marshes.
Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 5: Return to Nairobi – Departure.
You have a lot of things you want to get done in your final safari morning. You will start with a game drive before breakfast to see who else we can cross off our list. After enjoying breakfast in the breathtaking surroundings of nature, take another drive in the park in the middle of the morning. There’ll be time to go to any locations you might have overlooked. We’re heading to Nairobi, stopping along the route for lunch. You ought to show up at roughly 4:30 pm, or 16:30 hours.
Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch).
