During our 7 Days Uganda Safari, you will see some of the less-travelled regions of the country, such as the northeastern Karamoja National Park and Kidepo Valley National Park, which are two of the most isolated locations in all of East Africa. The safari offers both luxury and mid-range lodging, according on your tastes. Kidepo Valley National Park, according to CNN, is one of the best parks in Africa. It features rocky outcrops in the grassy plains that are surpassed by steep, rugged mountains that stretch from Southern Sudan and to the west, where you can see the Turkana plains of Kenya.
Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
You will leave Kampala by 6:30 am and head north towards Kitgum town. Since this drive will take the full day, you should pack a lunch and have two sodas or a beer along the route. In the car, there will be bottles of drinking water for you. During this lengthy eight-hour drive, you will stop multiple times for pictures and to stretch your legs.
The main reason this park hasn’t been spoiled is its remote location. You’ll arrive at Fugley’s Guest House in Kitgum, a tidy, comfortable establishment with delicious food that attracts expatriates from far and wide. It also features a swimming pool and is a great spot to spend the night before heading to the Kidepo Valley National Park the next day. Although the accommodations are simple, the food, refreshing drinks, pool, and friendly staff will make your stay delightful.
Day 2: Explore Kidepo Valley National Park
You continue your trip to Kidepo Valley Park after eating an early breakfast, arriving in time for lunch. You will drive through landscape that is significantly different from the rest of Uganda. At the lodge of your choosing, check in. Take a nap throughout the evening, have dinner, and stay the night.

You will be astounded by the sight of animals such as buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, lions, cheetahs, and birds as well as flora and trees, and you will never stop wondering how they have managed to thrive in this semi-arid region of the nation.
While travelling to the Karankorog Hot Springs, you will also observe a number of wild creatures. Even if you travel the same path again, every game drive will be extremely different because there will always be something new to discover and see. You will be astonished by the birds, landscape, and animals, so be sure to bring your camera along to capture all the great photos.
After lunch at your lodge, go for a cultural encounter with the Karamajong people, who take great pride in their indigenous ways. They share the same deep love of cattle husbandry as the well-known Maasai people of Tanzania and Kenya.
These prideful warriors have a very unusual lifestyle. They even think that since God granted them the right to own cattle, all cattle, including those held by others, are theirs. You will witness their way of life, the way they prepare their meals, how they enjoy life, how they dance their ancient dances, and their kindness towards the cattle. Return, enjoy dinner, and spend the night at the Lodge. Savour another evening at Kidepo Valley National Park surrounded solely by the sounds of this untamed African environment.
